Staff Guidance - COVID-19

If you are a hiring manager with a Unitemps worker and you approve of them working from home, it is fine for them to do so. In this instance, please manage workers in the normal way using tools such as Microsoft Teams. If at any point a contract extension is required, or you require an additional worker, please follow the normal university request and approvals process. If your worker is not able to work from home, please see our worker guidance.

Unitemps Canterbury Christ Church University - Clients and Hiring Managers

Unitemps is different to most other employment businesses in both culture and model. Unlike commercial competitors, we prioritise client experience over sales targets. Our staff do not work on commission and are instead driven by providing an excellent service.

Unitemps at Canterbury Christ Church University operates from Augustine House and has worked to develop strong links with local businesses across Kent and Medway, as well as the wider region. Our network of campuses and centres stretch across the county and are a vital part of the local communities. We recognise that we have a significant role in protecting and enhancing our wider environment, which we plan to continue and develop through Unitemps.

Established by the University of Warwick in 1997, and opening at Canterbury Chirst Church University in early 2015, Unitemps is at the forefront of the staffing sector as the business has grown from a single branch to the pioneering franchise network that exists today.
