Unitemps goes global with the launch of first international franchise
We are delighted to announce that we have expanded our franchise network by opening our first oversees branch at Griffith University in Australia.
Unitemps Griffith, based in Brisbane, is the first global franchise for the University of Warwick model, having already launched at 11 universities across the UK.
Paul Brewster, Director of The Warwick Employment Group (WEG), comments “The opening of Unitemps in Australia with our partner, Griffith University, is a truly amazing event.”
“We have found that Australian HE is experiencing very similar issues to UK HE such as employability, student satisfaction, revenue generation for growth and future proofing, the search for efficiencies and an evermore complicated employment legislative landscape to navigate. Unitemps, can help and have a positive impact in all these areas.”
The office, which opened on the 30th June 2016, will provide students with job opportunities on campus and with local businesses.

Michelle Wear, Director of Student Success, added “Griffith is very excited to have launched our own, and Australia’s first, Unitemps franchise. The potential for placing our students in meaningful work, on-campus and in local businesses, that will enable them to be self-supporting and enhance future employability, aligns directly with our life-cycle student support model.”
The branch has offices at their Nathan and Gold Coast campuses, and will be supported by the comprehensive online service, www.unitemps.com.
