The 16th and 17th of July saw the University of Warwick host the 2015 Unitemps Annual Conference at Scarman House - situated on the university campus.

It was the fourth event of its kind, and had the added twist of a James Bond theme! In the last five years Unitemps has grown from 15 members of staff to 72 - making this year’s conference the largest to date.

The first day of the conference consisted of interactive group sessions on important elements of the recruitment role; presentations were conducted along with group quizzes and activities, which provided a great opportunity for everyone to collaborate, learn and share ideas.

The evening began with a champagne reception before a formal dinner, which then concluded with the Annual Awards Ceremony. This provides recognition for the range of fantastic work from branches and individuals across the Unitemps network during the past year.

The second day took everyone outside to Cryfield Sports Pavillion for team-building activities. With teams made up from across the network, it was a great chance for individuals to collaborate with colleagues outside of their branch, in a different environment and work together to overcome both physical and mental challenges.

All in all, the two days were a resounding success and we are already eagerly anticipating next year’s Annual Conference. We look forward to seeing what the next year will bring for Unitemps as we look to expand our ever-growing network.
